The girls will spend their time experiencing success and building confidence. Through learning new skills and applying them, they will gain a sense of pride, grow more independent, connect with nature and make new friends. Our goal is that the girls will gain a passion for the outdoors and a desire to explore the world with the knowledge they will gain. We will also introduce them to outdoor career paths. Some of the Rangers will visit with the girls to share what they do and answer any questions they may have about careers. This class is for girls ages thirteen to seventeen.

Join the Department of Theatre at its annual "Bring Your Own Dinner" Dinner Theatre production of "The Fox on the Fairway," a tribute from Ken Ludwig (Lend Me A Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo) to the great English farces of the 1930s and 1940s. The Fox On the Fairway takes audiences on a hilarious romp which begins as Quail Valley Country Club prepares to take on archrival Crouching Squirrel in the annual Inter-Club golf tournament. With a sizable wager at stake, the contest plays out amidst three love affairs, a disappearing diamond, objectionable sweaters, and an exploding vase.

The 19th annual Denim & Diamonds Concert will be held at the Columbus Civic Center June 16, 2018 at 8:00 PM (doors open at 7:00pm). This year’s performers feature MCA Nashville recording star, Travis Tritt. The legendary Charlie Daniels Band along with the Juke Jammin' , Southern Rockin', The Marshall Tucker Band !! All proceeds will benefit Columbus Hospice and Columbus Hospice of Alabama. Since 1979, Columbus Hospice has provided care to patients whose life expectancy is limited and who can no longer benefit from curative treatment. Columbus Hospice currently services the following counties: Chattahoochee, Harris, Marion, Meriwether, Muscogee, Schley, Stewart, Talbot, Taylor, and Webster counties in Georgia, and Lee and Russell counties in Alabama.
